•• Refer to the manual of external sources as well. NOTE: We supply one set of AV cable and one piece of power cord with this product. The white/red plug of the AV cable is for the audio L/R connection and the yellow plug for the video connection. The white/red plug of the AV cable can also be used separately to input the audio signal in the S-video/Component connection. The rest of cable needed for other neccessary connections are not included with this product, please check with electronic store. 9 HDMI 1/2/3 Input Component 1/2 Input (Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr) Cable Connections AC..100V-240V 50Hz/60Hz External AV Source Component 1 Connection The component port is capable of accepting high-definition signals from standard video sources. (e.g., cable/ satellite boxes, DVD players, VCRs, etc.) 111 Connect the Y, Cb/Pb(1/2), Cr/ Pr(1/2) port by the component cable to input the video signal. Component cabel is not included with this product. 222 Use the red/white plug of supplied AV cable to connect R,L (1/2) port for audio transmission. Note: The component video jacks on your A/V device are sometimes labeled YPbPr, or YCbCr. For an explanation of component video, see your A/V device’s user guide. HDMI (High De.nition Multimedia Interface) is a new type of connection that transmits digital audio and video signals simultaneously over a single cable. A HDMI cable is required for the HDMI connection. These HDMI input connec tor s are capable of receiving video at resolutions up to 1080p (1080- progressive). AC..100V-240V 50Hz/60Hz External AV Source RCA Input The CVBS port is capable of accepting signals from standard video sources(e.g., cable/satellite boxes, DVD players, VCRs, etc.) 111 Connect the VIDEO port with the yellow plug of the the supplied AV cable. 222 Connect the L, R port with the white/red plug of the supplied AV cable to input the audio signal. Cable Connections TV Function TV Function TV Function Preparations 1. Connect cables.(Refer to the “Cable Connections” section for details). 2. Press POWER to turn on the player. 3. Press SOURCE to select the TV signal mode. a. Press the SOURCE button to display the Input Source menu. b. Press the UP or DOWN buttons to browse the mode options. c. Press OK to select a mode option. 4. Press the CH+/-buttons to skip channels. Or you can press the number buttons to input channels directly. For an initial use, you need to scan channels under the Channel Menu. See the "Channel Menu" section for details. System Setup Menu Most of advanced functions and features are performed with the system menu. • Press MENU to display the menu window. • Press the left/right direction button to select the desired menu, press OK or the down direction button to enter. Picture Menu Audio Menu Option Menu Channel Menu While working with the menu, 1. Press the up/down direction button to select the option. 2. Press the left/right direction button to adjust. 3. Press MENU to exit/back up menu. 11 TV Function TV Function Menu Description Picture Menu ITEM DESCRIPTION Picture Mode Setup the picture mode. (Custom, Vivid, Standard, Sports, Theater, Energy Saving). Contrast Adjust the display contrast Brightness Adjust the display brightness Color Adjust the display color Tint Adjust the display tint Sharpness Adjust the image sharpness Display Settings Press the right direction button to access the following options. Color Temp. - Set the color mode as Normal/Warm/Cool Screen Mode - Set Screen Mode as Zoom/Cinema/ Panorama/Propotional Mode/Stretch Mode Noise Reduction - Set noise appearance as Middle/Strong/ Auto/Off/Weak Adaptive Contrast - Set adaptive contrast on/off. Audio Menu ITEM DESCRIPTION Sound Mode Set the sound mode as Standard/News/Music/Movie/Custom Bass Adjust the bass. Treble Adjust the treble. Balance Adjust the sound balance. Surround Set the audio surround effect on/off. AVC Set AVC on/off. Digital Output Set the digital output mode as PCM/RAM. Audio Language Set the audio language as English/French/Spanish. 12 TV Function TV Function Menu Description Option Menu ITEM DESCRIPTION Parental Controls - Press the right direction button to access Enter Password.
