NICAM Reception (In Analogue Mode Only) If the set is equipped with the receiver for NICAM reception, the high quality NICAM (Near Instantaneous Companding Audio Multiplex) digital sound can be received. Sound output can be selected according to the type of received broadcast as follows by pressing the I/II button repeatedly. 1 When N NNI IIC CCA AAM MM m mmo oon nno oo is received, you can select N NNI IIC CCA AAM MM M MMO OON NNO OO or F FFM MM M MMO OON NNO OO. 2 When N NNI IIC CCA AAM MM stereo is received, you can select N NNI IIC CCA AAM MM S SST TTE EER RRE EEO OO or F FFM MM M MMO OON NNO OO. If the stereo signal is weak, switch to F FFM MM m mmo oon nno oo. 3 When NICAM dual is received, you can select N NNI IIC CCA AAM MM D DDU UUA AAL LL I II, N NNI IIC CCA AAM MM D DDU UUA AAL LL I III II or N NNI IIC CCA AAM MM D DDU UUA AAL LL I II+ ++I III II or M MMO OON NNO OO. SOUND & LANGUAGE CONTROL Speaker Sound Output Selection In AV, S-Video, Component, RGB and HDMI mode, you can select output sound for the left and right loudspeakers. Repeatedly press the I II/ //I III II button to select the sound output. L+R: Audio signal from audio L input is sent to the left loud speaker and audio signal from audio R input is sent to the right loud speaker. L+L: Audio signal from audio L input is sent to left and right loud speakers. R+R: Audio signal from audio R input is sent to left and right loud speakers. GG If you select wrong local country, the teletext may not appear correctly on the screen and some problem may happen during teletext operation. GG CI (Common Interface) function may not be applied based on country broadcasting circumstance. GG DTV mode control buttons may not be working based on country broadcasting circumstance. NOTE! < Audio Language Selection > GG When two or more audio languages are broadcasted, you can select audio language with the I/II button on the remote control. GG Press the D or E button to select an audio language. GG Press the F or G button to select L+R, L+L or R+R. -The audio/subtitle can be displayed simpler form with 1 to 3 characters which is broadcast by service provider. -When you select supplementary Audio (Audio for “Visual/Hearing Impaired”) it may speak out a part of Main audio.
