9280-103 Rainfly Part No. 9280A101 1 2 Frame Pole Assembly -The frame is a unique one piece shock-corded design -Step 1: Assemble the ridge pole. (illus. 1) -Step 2: Extend each leg fully by connecting the shock corded poles. (illus. 2) Connect Tent to Frame -Unfold and position the tent with the door facing the desired direction. (illus. 3) - Attach the poles to the tent corners using the pin & ring system by inserting the pin into the end of the pole. Repeat for each corner. (illus. 4 & 5) -Stake down tent corners by inserting tent stake through the ring of the pin & ring system. (illus. 6) illus. 6 Stake corners through the pin & ring system illus. 5 Pin & ring system illus. 4 3 Clip Tent to Frame -Starting at the top rear of the tent, attach the tent to the frame using the frame clips. (illus. 7 & 8) -Unzip front door, and standing in the open door, attach the remainder of the tent ridge frame clips to the ridge pole. (illus. 7 & 8) -Attach all the side frame clips to the frame. (illus. 7 & 8) Note: Fly pole can be turned under and secured i velcro to ridge pole when rainfly is not in use. 4 Attach Rainfly -Driino rainfk/ n\/or tho -Drape rainfly over the tent frame. -Insert frame poles in the front and rear into reinforced pockets located at the center edges of the underside of rainfly. (illus. 9 & 10) -Attach rainfly to the frame poles with attachments. - Attach "S” hooks to the ring of the pin & ring system. -Attach corner guylines to the guy triangles at the rainfly corners. Stake out guylines away from the tent at an angle. (illus. 10) - Attach side guylines to the ring on the sides of the rainfly and stake out. Note the guylines on each corner (4) and side guylines (2 Things You Should Know • Under certain conditions (cold weather, high humidity, etc.) condensation will form on the inside surfaces of your tent. Condensation is caused by water vapor from your breath, perspiration, or any wet clothing inside your tent. It is NOT LEAKAGE through the tent fabric. It can be minimized by removing wet clothing from your tent and by providing good ventilation through the tent. • Never store tent, even for a short period of time, without drying it thoroughly and brushing off caked dirt. Do not pack stakes or poles inside your tent. Use a separate storage bag. • STAKES SHOULD BE REMOVED BY PULLING ON THE STAKE ITSELF NEVER PULL ON THE TENT FABRIC OR TENT STAKE LOOP TO REMOVE STAKE. • TENT POLES SHOULD NOT BE LEFT TELESCOPED TOGETHER DURING STORAGE. • Seam sealer has not been provided with your tent. We recommend seam sealing your tent prior to camping. Seam sealer may be purchased through your local retailer or at your local sporting goods store. • Do not leave your tent set-up for weeks at a time, be aware that exposure to the ultraviolet rays of the sun can seriously damage material and/or cause it to become discolored. • See owners manual for more tips. WARNING: KEEP ALL FLAME AND HEAT SOURCES AWAY FROM THIS TENT FABRIC. This tent meets the flammability requirements of CPAI-84.The fabric will burn if left in continuous contact with any flame source.The application of any foreign substance to the tent fabric may render the flame-resistant properties ineffective.
