Resumen del manual
Issue: When using the Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services (ADLDS) script to import UNIX groups,
the associated UNIX users are not bound to the imported group.
Workaround: To include a user in an imported group, you must manually add the users to the group using
the Local Users and Groups MMC snap-in.
Issue: On some X1000 and X3000 storage systems, a momentary press of the power button results in an
Operating System shutdown.
Workaround: Confirm that the power settings for the storage system ignore the power button or disable the
power button in the system BIOS.
Issue: HPSUM incorrectly reports a ProLiant Support Pack component as not installed
Even though the StorageWorks Fibre Channel Array Notification Driver is installed with the image, when the
HPSUM utiltiy is run to check for required updates, this driver is listed as Ready for installation instead of
Already up-to date as expected.
Workaround: This issue will be resolved in a future release.
Issue: The Create LUN operation fails
The Storage Manager for SAN Create LUN operation fails if there are no free physical disks.
Workaround: This failure occurs when there are no unused physical disks available to create a new LUN. To
work around this issue, use the Array Configuration Utility to create the LUNs.
Issue: The links in the right panel of the Share and Storage Management snap-in do not function properly
In Server Manager under Share and Folder Management there is a provision provided on the right panel to
Manage Open Files. The wizard displays open files under Open Mode with a Read status instead of Read/Write
or Write.
Workaround: There is currently no known workaround. This issue may be resolved by Microsoft in a future
release.
System installation and recovery
This section describes issues related to the system installation and recovery process.
Issue: Windows Error Reporting indicates that an Emulex FC card driver is not found during storage system
installation
Workaround: The error message can be ignored. The driver is loaded and functional in the Operating System
after initial log in to the storage system. The issue is detected by Windows Error Reporting before the driver
is actually installed on the system.
Issue: Smart Array Cache error is displayed during the system recovery process
If the Battery Back Write Cache is not attached to your smart array controller properly, during system recovery,
the following error is displayed: An error occured while restoring the factory image .setSmart Array Cache
Error: "cache ratio=0/100" is not a valid option for p212 in slot 5. There are no options currently available.
Workaround: Attach a valid Battery Back Write Cache to your smart array controller.
