To replace the counterweight cable assembly:

installation instructions
1. Turn off the library.
2. Unlock and open both front doors of the library.
3. Slide out the lower-left, upper-left, and upper-right bin panels.
Release the latch and pull the handle of the panel until the panel
stops.
This kit contains two parts. The repairs of these two
parts are completely independent; you will not be
replacing them at the same time. Save the part that
you are not replacing should you need it in the future.

4. Set a small, sturdy box on the library floor under the counterweight.
