EP924H 1 Rev. 11/05 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 16 Cleaning the Steam Generator Iron NOTE: When finished using the steam generator iron, remove the steam hose from the unit. Let the steam generator iron cool completely before cleaning. 1. Clean the iron ONLYwhen cold. 2. Do NOTuse scouring pads, abrasives or harsh cleansers. 3. Use a commercially sold soleplate cleanser and follow the manufacturers label instructions. 4. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the outer body of the iron. 5. Storing the Steam Generator Iron 1. Alwaysunplug the connection plug from the steam cleaner when not in use. 2. Always store in a dry place away from the reach of children. 3. Always drain the water out of the steam cleaner after the unit has cooled for 15 minutes. Store the steam cleaner with the safety fill cap tightened only slightly 4. Always let the steam cleaner cool before storing. 5. Do not let power cord or steam hose touch hot surfaces.
