Setting the IP Address for the Camera Please record the serial number from the label on the unit. This serial number is the MAC address for the camera, for example 0002D11000520 = 00-02-D1-10-00-52. There are two ways to assign an IP address to this MAC address. 1. By using the ‘Installer.exe’ software on the CD-ROM Run the ‘Installer.exe’ first, then power on the unit. Click on the serial number that corresponds to your camera Assign a free IP address If you want to fix the IP address of the unit, check the option ‘Use this IP whenever the system boots’ Click ‘Set IP Address’ to start the installation process English Manual 2. By using the DOS command line under Windows Start a DOS Window and type the following commands: Syntax: arp –s ping Example: Type the arp command and press ‘enter’ Type the ping command and press ‘enter’ If you see the reply message, the unit has been installed successfully Viewing the Camera via a Web browser Type the IP address that you’ve assigned. The required password is the serial number (mind upper and lower cases), the login name is ‘root’ Click on the ’Configuration’ button for further adjustments Radio Frequency Energy, Certifications Shielded cables must be used with this equipment to maintain compliance with radio frequency energy emission regulations and ensure a suitably high level of immunity to electromagnetic disturbances. Die Software-CD Beschreibung und Installation Sie finden an der Voderseite der Kamera die folgenden Elemente: Objektiv, Status-LED. Mikrofonoffnung. Auf der Ruckseite finden sich: der Netzteilanschluss, der I/O Terminal- Block, der Ethernet-Anschluss und das Etikett mit der Seriennummer. Um die Kamera uber einen Hub mit einem vorhandenen Netzwerk zu verbinden, verwenden Sie ein standard 1:1-Patchkabel, um sie direkt an einen Rechner anzuschliessen, ein Crossover-Patchkabel. Wenn Sie externe Komponenten (Sensoren / Alarmgeber) verwenden, schliessen Sie diese an die Kamera an wie im ausfuhrlichen Handbuch (auf der CD) beschrieben. Verbinden Sie zuletzt das externe Netzteil mit einer Steckdose und die 12V-Zuleitung mit der Kamera.
