• Make sure the mains supply voltage is the same as that on the maker’s plate. • Do not plug the appliance in until it has been fully and correctly assembled. • The switch must be in the ..0” position before plugging in or unplugging the appliance. • DO NOT KEEP OR USE THIS APPLIANCE NEAR BATH, SHOWER OR SWIMMING POOL. • NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. • Only use the appliance in dry environments, never in damp places such as bathrooms, etc. • Do not handle the appliance with wet hands. • Do not use the appliance with the cord wound up. • Keep the fan away from objects which may enter the grilles, such as curtain cords, plants, etc. • Do not place the fan near flames, cookers or heaters. • Do not connect the appliance to external speed regulation devices. • Keep a check on the appliance when in use, especially when children are nearby. • Unplug at the mains when not in use. • Never pull on the cord when unplugging. • Make sure the appliance has been unplugged before cleaning. • Do not use the fan with a damaged cord or plug, or if it is not working properly. • Repairs and cord replacement must only be carried out by Authorised Technical Service staff. ASSEMBLY Fitting the pedestal: - Slot the two base legs together (17) to form a cross-shape. - Remove the screws from these legs and use them to attach the base unit (16), Figure 1. - Remove the height adjustment nut (13) Slide the trim piece (15) onto the tube and line it up on top of the foot assembly, Figure 2. - Screw the height adjustment nut (13) back onto the telescopic tube. - Pull the telescopic tube (14) up to the desired height and lock it into position by tightening the height adjustment nut (13) (Fig. 3). - Fit the body of the fan onto the stand assembly and tighten up the tube securing screw (12), Figure 4.
