Resumen del manual


Never use water. • Never do any flambe cooking underneath the cooker hood. It can cause a fire. Remember that overheated fat may spontaneously ignite. Never leave the frying pan unattended. • It is essential that the grease filter is regularly cleaned to help avoid fat dripping on to the hot zone and causing a fire. Read the section on “Maintenance and Cleaning” in the instruction book. Disposal • Prevent accidents when disposing of your cooker hood. Disconnect the power plug from the wall socket and cut the power cord at the hood inlet.Contact your local authority for information on where to dispose the cooker hood. Description of the cooker hood Functions There are two possible systems: • Extraction of air to the outside using an optional venting kit and evacuation duct. • Recirculation using an optional Belysning charcoal filter. The air outlet must not be connected to chimney flues or combustion gas ducts. The air outlet must under no circumstances be connected to ventilation ducts for rooms in which fuel-burning appliances are installed. Accessories The following are included with the cooker hood: screws and wall plugs to fix the hood, cover, template , connection ring (Extraction of air to the outside), non return smoke valve, Instruction for use and installation 45 Introduction Extractor version • The hood is supplied as an extractor unit and can also be used with a filtering function by fitting one charcoal filter (special accessory). • You will need original AEG charcoal filter for this function (see Special Accessories). • The unit features two outlet holes, one of which A is located on the top of the unit while the other B is located on the rear. • To connect up the hose, you should first fit the bayonet-mounting flange C (O 120 mm) on the outlet required (if using the top outlet, fix the flange in place using the screw supplied as shown in Fig. 1). Close off the unused hole using the bayonet fitting caps D. • Warning! If is decided to use the rear outlet hole B, first remove the sponge E that closes that hole. Fig. 2. Fig. 1 Filter Version • The air is filtered and recirculated through the front grid. • Move the lever G to position F - Fig. 3. • You will need an original AEG KF14 charcoal filter for the filtering function. (See Special Accessories). Fig. 2 Fig. 3 Using the cooker hood The control panel • The hood is fitted with one motor having several speed. Best results are obtained by using a low speed for normal conditions and high speed when odours are more concentrated. Turn the hood on a few minutes before you start cooking then you will get an underpressure in the kitchen. It should be left on after cooking for about 15 minutes or until all odours have disappeared. The control switches are located on the unit’s front panel: A: Main switch, hood on/off. B: Start and choice of motor speed 1-2-3-1-2......... C: Indicates speed 1 (LED). D: Indicates speed 2 (LED). E: Indicates speed 3 (LED). F: Indicates Intensive speed (LED). G: ...
