The Palmcorder is set to tfJlKMMl adfrom the factory. DISPLAY Before you begin... • Connect the Palmcorder to a power source. • Insert a cassette with record tab (see page 10). Continue holding down the SECURITY MODE button before and after turning the POWER switch to CAMERA until the SECURITY MODE menu screen is displayed. Press UP ▲ or DOWN T to select or TALLY LAMP ON TALLY LAMP OFF - ' ■ • - SECURITY MODE - TALLY LAMP ON TALLY LAMP OFF SELECT: PUSH T/A KEY SET : PUSH DISPLAY KEY TALLY LAMP ON Tally Lamp comes on during Motion Security recording. Press the DISPLAY button to set your selection and exit this screen. 38 Special Features Intelligent Titler On selected holidays, such as New Year’s Day, the Palmcorder will automatically display the appropriate title when the power is first turned on. To remove the title while recording, press the TITLE button. Note: • You can display HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VACATION, WEDDING DAY, or A SPECIAL DAY by pressing TITLE button repeatedly in Record/Pause mode. • The Palmcorder will not automatically display a title once it has been removed. Press the TITLE button while recording to remove the title. 39 Special Features Copying your Tapes (dubbing) Mam Operation Before you begin... • Connect the Palmcorder to VCR as shown below. • Turn ON both units. • Set the recording VCR’s Input Signal Selector to LINE. • Set the Palmcorder POWER switch to VCR. Source (Playing) Palmcorder Insert a pre-recorded tape into the Palmcorder and a blank tape with a recording tab into your VCR. Press PLAY on the Palmcorder and when you find the starting point, press STILL. Press PLAY and REC together on your VCR and then immediately press STILL/PAUSE.
