If the battery is depleted, the current date/time values are reset to the default values. If this occurs, you need to recharge the internal rechargeable battery (see below), and then re-set the current date and time. Charging the internal rechargeable batteryThe internal battery is always recharged while your camcorder is connected to the AC power or while the battery is attached. If you have not used the camcorder for about 2 weeks and you have not connected the AC power or the battery to it, the internal battery fully discharges. If this occurs, charge the internal battery by connecting the camcorder to the supplied AC adaptor for 24 hours. Turkce About the storage media SELECTING THE STORAGE MEDIA (HMX-H303/H304/H305 only) You can record videos and photos in the internal memory or a memory card. Select the desired storage media before starting recording or playback. • You can use SD or SDHC cards in your camcorder. However, some cards are not compatible depending on the memory card manufacturer and memory card type. • Before inserting or ejecting the memory card, turn the camcorder off. 1. Touch the Menu ( ) • Setting ( ) tab. 2. Touch the up ( )/down ( ) tab until “Storage Type” appears. 3. Touch “Storage Type,” then touch the desired storage media. The memory card and its data may be damaged. About the storage media 34 INSERTING / EJECTING A MEMORY CARD (NOT SUPPLIED) To avoid data loss, turn off the camcorder by pressing the Power ( ) button for one second before inserting or ejecting the memory card. Be careful not to push the memory card too hard. The memory card may suddenly pop out. •• Your camcorder supports only SD (Secure Digital) and SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards. Card compatibility may vary depending on the manufacturer and the type of memory card. To insert a memory card 1. Turn the camcorder off. 2. Open the memory card cover. 3. Insert the memory card into the card slot until it softly clicks. Make sure that the camcorder is placed as shown above and the terminal portion of the card is facing up. 4.
