Use only as described in this instruction manual. 2. This product operates at 120 VAC, 60 Hz only. 3. Do not use this product if it is damaged in any way or form. Immediately unplug the Environizer™ and return it for service under the warranty agreement for repair. 4. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment has a grounding type plug that has a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit into a grounding type power outlet. If the plug does not fit to the outlet, contact qualified personnel to install the proper outlet. Do not alter the plug in any way. 5. Do not operate this product with a damaged cord or plug or if the product malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. The UV lens is an important safety device. If the UV lens is broken or damaged, do not use the Environizer™ and never expose yourself or look directly at the UV bulb(s) while it is illuminated. Return this product to an authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair. 6. For indoor use only. This product is not intended for use in bathroom, laundry areas or similar moist indoor locations. Never locate this product where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container. 7. Always unplug this product when not in use or prior to cleaning. 8. Close attention is necessary when this appliance is operated near children. This is not a toy. 9. Do not pull, lift or carry by the power cord. Do not use the cord as a handle, close a door on the cord, or pull the cord around or against sharp edges or corners. 10. Do not place this product near any heat sources such as stoves, radiators, and heaters. 11. Turn the unit off before unplugging from an electrical outlet. Grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull by the cord. 12. Do not handle the product or the plug with wet hands. 13. Do not put any objects through any grilles or openings in the product. Keep all openings free of dust, lint, hair, or other materials which may reduce airflow. 14. Keep hair, fingers or loose clothing away from grilles or other openings in the product. 15. Do not operate the unit in areas where flammable or combustible products or vapors may be present. 16. Do not operate this product in oxygen rich environments. 17. The collection rod has many edges and areas that can trap water. The collection rod should be completely dry before installing it into the unit. 18. READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. The sealed UV bulbs contain a small amount of mercury. Dispose of these items at household hazardous waste collection sites only. If the UV bulb breaks, do not vacuum or handle with your bare hands. 1 OWNER’S MANUAL LifeWise Model 63-1510 (90210 Series) 2 YOUR ENVIRONIZER™: NOTE: The ionizing process used by the Environizer™ produces small amounts of ozone as a byproduct. The Environizer™ complies with U.S. Government limits for acceptable levels of ozone (less than 50 parts per billion by volume of air circulating through the product). People with a history of respiratory problems or heart/lung disease should consult a physician prior to using this product. SET-UP: • Select a firm, level and flat location. For proper air flow, locate the unit at least 3 feet (1 M) from any wall or furniture. • Ensure the exit grill faces away from the closest wall or furniture. • Ensure no grilles are blocked. • Plug into a grounded 120V outlet. See IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. • Do not lift the Environizer™ by the Top Cover. Use the Handle in the top rear of the main housing. OPERATION: SPEED LEVEL • Ensure the Collector Rod is firmly seated in place and the top cover is securely latched. The Collector Rod is keyed and will only seat properly in one direction. • Press the Power Button to turn the Environizer™ on. The unit will automatically start at Medium speed. • Select a speed level by pressing one of three Speed Level Buttons (Super, Medium, Low). The indicator light above the selected button will illuminate. • Press the Power Button again to turn-off the Environizer™. The timer indicators will light at the selected time. The Environizer™ will automatically turn-off when time runs out. • The Timer can be turned-off by repeatedly pressing the Timer Button until all of the timer indicators go out. NOTE: Opening the unit or turning the unit OFF will cancel the timer function. OPERATION: DUAL UV LAMPS • The Dual UV Lamps work with any speed level. • Press the Lamps On/Off Button to turn the Lamps on or off. • The Lamps will light and you will see faint blue glow from the two lamps along the sides of the Environizer™. NOTE: Opening the unit or turning the unit OFF will cancel the UV Lamp function. The Lamps intensity will increase as the unit...
