How It Works Trion's Air Boss MP Series employs several principles to clean the air. Working independently of a HVAC system, the unit draws polluted air through its impinger, which strips micron particles from the air stream by “impaction.” The remaining particulates travel through a secondary filter and then through the 95% DOP Rated PRIMARY filter which strips smoke and other submicron particles from the air stream by “interception.”The blower is designed specifically to handle the filtration system at the rated cfm over the useful life of the filter.
