3. Use the template or following the picture to mark the points (A-B-C) on the wall where the screws will be mounted. Ensure that the minimum distance between the hob and the extractor hood is maintained – 368 mm for the electric or gas hob. 4. Drill o 8 mm holes A and B for the extractor hood. Drill o 8 mm holes C for the chimney brackets. 5. Insert plugs 11 into the holes so that they are fl ush with the wall. 6. Fix the brackets 7.2.1 using the 12a screws supplied. In case of hood installation in recycling version with the chimney, the upper bracket 7.2.1 must be fi xed together with the Air Outlet Connection Support 7.3. 7. Insert two screws 12a supplied in the hood body fi xing holes, leaving a gap of 5-6 mm between the wall and the head of the screw. Mounting the hood body 8. Before attaching the hood body, tighten the two screws Vr located on the hood body mounting points. 9. Hook the hood body onto the screws 12a. 10. Fully tighten support screws 12a. Installation Note: Take into account any special accessories that are going to be fi tted. 11. Adjust screws Vr to level the hood body. 12. Tighten the safety screw 11 in holes B. 24 en Connection in Ducting Version When installing the ducting version, connect the hood to the chimney using either a fl exible or rigid pipe o 150 or 120 mm, the choice of which is left to the installer. .. To install a o 120 mm air exhaust connection, insert the reducer fl ange 9 on the hood body outlet. Installation 9 o 150 o 120 .. Fix the pipe in position using suffi cient pipe clamps (not supplied). .. Remove charcoal fi lters, if present. Connection in Recycling Version All the items named in this procedure are included in the recycling kit. The corresponding accessory numbers can be found at the end of these operating instructions. .. Put connection 15 into the connection support 7.3. .. Insert the connection extension pieces laterally 14.1 in connection 15. .. Make sure that the outlet of the extension pieces 14.1 is horizontally and vertically aligned with the chimney outlets. .. Connect the air outlet connection 15 to the hood body outlet using either a pipe o 150 mm. Chimney assembly Upper Chimney .. Slightly widen the two sides of the upper Chimney and hook them behind the brackets 7.2.1, making sure that they are well seated. .. Secure the sides to the brackets using the 4 screws 12c supplied. .. Make sure that the outlet of the extensions pieces is aligned with the chimney outlets. .. Ensure that the activated charcoal fi lters have been inserted. Lower Chimney .. Slightly widen the two sides of the Chimney and hook them between the upper Chimney and the wall, making sure that they are well seated. .. Le ventilateur de la hotte aspirante aspire les vapeurs de cuisson et les envoie a l'air libre au travers des filtres a graisse. .. Le filtre a graisse absorbe les graisses des vapeurs de cuisson. .. La cuisine est completement liberee de toutes les graisses et odeurs. Pour faire fonctionner la hotte a evacuation de l'air quand d'autres appareils dependent du meme conduit pour la combustion, (ex. appareils de chauffage au gaz, a l'huile ou au charbon, chauffe- eau a flux continu, chauffe-bain) il faut prevoir une alimentation suffisante de l'air, necessaire a l'appareil pour la combustion. Le fonctionnement sera sans danger si, dans la piece ou est installe l'appareil de chauffage, la depression ne depasse pas 4 Pa (0,04 mbars). Ceci est possible quand l'air pour la combustion peut continuer a circuler dans la piece par des ouvertures permanentes, ex. portes, fenetres et dispositifs de ventilation au mur pour l'alimentation/ l’ecavuation de l'air ou au moyen d'autres dispositifs techniques tels que l'interdiction reciproque ou similaires. Modes de fonctionnement Si l'air en alimentation n'est pas suffisant, le risque d'intoxication subsiste en raison du retour des gaz de combustion. Un systeme mural de ventilation pour l'alimentation / l'evacuation de l'air ne garantit pas a lui seul le respect de la valeur limite. Note : le calcul de l'aeration pour la hotte doit toujours prendre en compte l'aeration de toute l'habitation. Cette regle ne s'applique pas pour le fonctionnement des appareils de cuisson, ex. plan de cuisson et cuisiniere a gaz. fr Si la hotte aspirante est utilisee en mode de fonctionnement a recirculation d'air - avec un fi ltre au charbon actif - , alors il n'y a pas de limitations a son utilisation.
