Clock display The ”Clock display” settings area is lit. 1. Using the rotary selector, switch the clock display on and off or select the form of the display. NOTE Please note that when the clock display is switched off, there is no display either when the extractor hood is in an idle state or in operating mode. 2. Press the .. button to switch to the next settings area. Brand logo display The brand logo can be switched on or off. 1. Select the “Display/brand logo” settings area. 2. Using the rotary selector, adjust the display. Confirmation of standard setting Press the .. button for approx. 3 seconds. The changes to the standard settings are accepted. 8 Switch on the fan and select the fan settings It is recommended to switch on the blower when you start cooking and not to switch it off again until several minutes after you have finished cooking. In this way the kitchen fumes are removed most effectively. Press the .. button. The appliance automatically switches to fan setting 2. Select the required fan setting by pressing the corresponding Function button (1-3). Switch off the fan Press the .. button. Intensive setting (fan setting 4) The Intensive setting generates maximum performance. It can be used if thick fumes or strong odours occur temporarily. Press Function button 4. If the Intensive setting is not switched off by hand, the fan automatically switches back to setting 2 after 10 minutes. Fan run-on Press the .. button. The fan runs at the selected setting for the set time. NOTE The saturation display of the grease filters can be reset even before 100 % is reached. 1. Press the .. button again. The settings area is lit. 2. Using the rotary selector, set the saturation display to 0 %. If the .. button is lit and a signal sounds when the extractor hood has been switched off, the grease filters are 100% saturated. 1. Clean the grease filters or replace the activated carbon filter. 2. Set the indicator to “yes”. 3. The running time of the timer can be changed with the rotary selector. 3. The time runs automatically. The elapsing time is indicated on the display. When the time has elapsed, a signal sounds. Press the W button to end the signal early. Intermittent Intermittent ventilation can be used to ventilate the kitchen hourly for the preset time. 1. Select a fan setting (except fan setting 4). 2.
