Air in gas line 3. Air passageways on heater blocked 4. Dirty or partially clogged burner orifice. 1. When heated, vapors from furniture polish, wax, carpet cleaners, etc., turn into white powder residue 1. Clean burner orifice (see Cleaning and Maintenance on page 13), or replace burner orifice 2. Replace burner 3. Replace gas regulator 1. Replace burner 2. Turn control knob until it locks at desired setting. 3. Replace gas regulator 1. Problem will stop after a few hours of operation 1. Turn control knob to LO position and let warm up for a minute. 2. Operate burner until air is removed from line have gas line checked by local gas company. 3. Observe minimum installation clearances (see Figure 4 page6) 4. Clean burner orifice (see Cleaning and Maintenance on page 13), or replace burner orifice. 1.
