Notes Never turn off the power during Factory Reset (while “Now, Executing” appears in the display). Turning off the power while Factory Reset is in progress may result in corrupted internal data and may prevent the power from being turned on again. If you have confirmed that the internal data has been lost, or if a similar problem exists, consult the retailer from whom you purchased the instrument, or the nearest Roland Service Center. Note, however, that Roland assumes no liability, including compensation, for consequences arising from any loss of data. 12,43,5,6,7 When making USB connections, be absolutely sure to disconnect the USB cable before starting. Instead of selecting with the CURSOR, you can press TONE SELECT [9] to display the Utility Edit screen directly. Getting Ready 6 Press [ENTER]. The confirmation message appears. To cancel the Factory Reset, press [EXIT]. 7 Press [ENTER] once again to start the Factory Reset operation. During the execution, “Executing... Don’t Power OFF” appears in the display.
