Inside every amplifier we use high-grade glass epoxy circuit boards, low-noise metal film resistors, phone jacks with gold plated contacts, chassis metal which is one to two gauges thicker than the competition’s and durable plywood construction. Built in true Traynor fashion, these great sounding combo amplifiers stand up to life on the road. The Traynor Keymaster series satisfies musicians who require rugged, reliable and highly portable equipment that faithfully reproduce acoustic- electric instruments, voice, CDs and tapes. Thank you for choosing the Traynor Keymaster K2.This advanced keyboard amplifier is extremely versatile, delivering a wide spectrum of tonal performance. More importantly it has the ability bring out subtle audible nuances for performance and it has the ability to sound right with a minimum amount of knob twirling. Introducing the ultra-compact, 200-watt Traynor K2 Traynor keyboard amplifier. Designed to outperform anything in its class, the K2 is the smallest keyboard amplifier to offer Traynor’s innovative tube / solid-state input and proprietary Voicing circuitry. This technology was first introduced on the K2’s big brother, the K4. By using this unique input design, the Traynor K2 becomes more than a keyboard amp but an integral part of the keyboard player’s tone pallet. The K2 also serves as a convenient and powerful wedge monitor. Designed for the live stage, it’s small footprint allows it to fit easily under almost any keyboard rig, the 3-way speaker system delivers a full 200watts to the stage, more than enough for most live applications. The innovative third channel post-master input (located on the back of the K2) allows an additional signal to be fed to the amplifier, without feeding it to the pre-master line output. This allows sources like monitor feeds from the front of house mix, a drum machine click tracks or cue sends to be amplified on stage by the K2, without feeding them to the house mix! • Please take a little time to read the following instructions; then plug in, switch on, and enjoy your flight • Line Out Power Balanced PhonesClip Clip Master Clip Ch 1 Voicing Solid-State Preamp Channel 1 Channel 2 Input 1 Input 2 Input 2 Input 1Balanced Bypass 1 2 3 4 CH1 Gain CH2 Gain Master 15+15- 0 5 5 10 10 15+15- 055101015+15- 0551010BassMidTreble15+15- 055101015+15- 055101015+15- 0551010BassMidTrebleTube046137928510100100 Features • Quality component selection including the use of high-grade glass epoxy circuit boards and low noise components • XLR, RCA and .-inch TRS phone jacks with gold-plated contacts • Thermal bias sensing protection • Ultra compact 200-watt wedge format keyboard amplifier • Three input channels including post-master monitor input • 3-way speaker system features a 170-watt 10-inch low frequency driver, a 4-inch 30-watt midrange and a 2.5-inch 20-watt high frequency driver • Innovative tube / solid-state switchable input • Proprietary 5-position Voicing circuitry on Channel 1 • 3-band EQ on both Channel 1 and Channel 2 • Headphone and .-inch Balanced post-EQ, pre-master line outs • Low distortion at high sound pressure levels • Loaded with high quality, custom-designed speakers • Consistent box to box production using advanced quality assurance methodology and CAD/ CAM technology • Solid plywood cabinet construction, not MDF or particle board • Black leatherette covering and non-slip rubber feet • Low profile, Metal integral bar handle • Stand adapter • Rubber feet on bottom and sides for convenient, compact storage • Covered by our famous 2 year unlimited* "Even if you break it" warranty * Warranty valid in the United States and Canada only Channel 1 There are two sets of inputs for channel 1, The selectable tube or solid state input on channel 1 allows the player to select a pristine, high-headroom solid-state clean input on channel one, or a warmer, slightly compressed tube circuit which adds warmth to digital synths and samplers. Gain Control The gain control on channel 1 controls the gain of both preamps, solid state and the tube, depending on setting of the input select switch. You can overdrive the input signal by increasing the gain while in the tube mode. Tip: For some good vintage organ or just to further enhance the experience, increase the gain into the white outlined area of the control while in the tube mode. You’ll be pleased with the sweet overdrive and added growl of this circuit as you dial clockwise. Input clip LED The input clip LED will only turn on when the input signal from a source such as a keyboard is too hot and will clip the input circuits. To alleviate this, turn down the gain of the source unit. Tone Controls There are 3 tone controls, bass, mid and trebl...
