It goes off automatically when the temperature inside reaches approximately -18°C. Switch on (if provided) the SUPER FREEZE SWITCH (switch off again no more than 24 hours later or when the red light goes off). If possible, do not open the freezer compartment until the red light has gone off. If the red pilot light continues to remain on after 12 to 24 hours, there may be a serious problem.
