This section will help you to become familiar with the basic controls. DETERGENT DISPENSER SPIN CANCEL BUTTON PROGRAMME CHART PROGRAMME DIAL OUTER KNOB PUMP FILTER m Detergent Dispenser Simply pull it out and you will see three separate compartments. The one on the left is for the detergent for the pre-wash, the centre one for detergent for the main wash and the right hand one is for a fabric conditioner. The table on page 4 indicates what detergent to use along with any conditioner required for each programme. The amount you need will depend on the particular wash and local water conditions. For details see page 5. When using a fabric conditioner use only the quantity recommended by the manufacturer and do not dilute it before pouring it into the fabric conditioner portion of the dispenser. Add the fabric conditioner as well as the detergent before starting the programme. The dispenser should be removed, rinsed, cleaned and thoroughly dried after every wash. To remove the dispenser apply a sharp outward pull and to replace it give it a light tap with the palm of the hand. Selector Buttons The three selector buttons allow you to vary the basic programmes to suit your particular needs. To operate simply depress the appropriate button before starting your programme. The table on page 4 indicates which buttons to use with each programme. After completing the wash, any button used should be cancelled by pushing it in and releasing.
